A co-worker left recently and I got to inherit his macbook air m3. I was using macbook air m1 and this is quite an upgrade for me. “New” laptop has 24GB RAM, 512GB SSD compared to previous 16GB, 256GB SSD. It feels snappier and the keyboard is much better. Travel distance of m1 is too short. I feel like I’m tapping on table than typing on a keyboard.

Migration process is quite painless and quick with Migration Assistant. Almost anything moved over except Nix store. I had to reinstall Nix and Home-manager but since its config is all I need. My setup is rebuilt in minutes. Yay!
